Welcome to Pine Hill Speckle Park

Pine Hill Speckle Park Stud is based in Clevedon, a rural area on the outskirts of Auckland and is home to us, Martyn and Sarah Forsyth. We have a larger property ‘Pine Hill’ on the edge of Auckland’s Manukau Harbour, which we mainly use for our commercial cattle.

Back in 2011, we were looking for a quality beef breed that offered more than the traditional beef breeds. We read about Speckle Park Cattle and their numerous attributes sparked our interest. We purchased some Speckle Park semen and we were so impressed with the quality and performance of the resulting cross-bred progeny that our initial interest, quickly developed into a real passion for the breed.

Our goal has since been to build the best possible Stud herd of pure-bred cattle where our focus has been on quality over quantity.

We have spared no expense in achieving this, by investing heavily in sourcing and purchasing the best available Stud animals and genetics from across New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
